Narrative
WARWICK, RI – Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash along a residential roadway in north-central Warwick on Friday.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Grotto Avenue, which is south of Sand Pond Wetland and north of Airport Road.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a white vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
It is unclear if the driver sustained injuries in the collision.
