Narrative

PROVIDENCE, RI – One person went to the hospital Monday with minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in the Silver Lake area of Providence.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sophia Street and Ethan Street, which is just southwest of Paul Grande Jr. Park.

It’s not yet clear how the accident happened. Police say that after the two vehicles collided, the pickup truck crashed into the stairs at the front of a Providence Home.

Officials determined that the crash did not cause any structural damage to the home.

A full investigation is underway.
