PROVIDENCE, RI – Officers were called to the scene of a two-car collision at the intersection of Chalkstone Avenue and Bergen Street early Friday morning .

The incident, which occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., resulted in substantial front-end damage to both vehicles involved.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the factors involved.
