PROVIDENCE, RI – At least two lanes were blocked on I-295 following a crash in northwest Providence on Tuesday night. The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of the interstate near the US-44 interchange at about 11:23 p.m.

Additional details concerning the crash are unavailable at this time. However, the center and right lanes were closed as a result, causing traffic delays in the area while crews worked to clear the scene.
