Narrative
Evan Baptiste hit more than two cars and injured several people after driving south on the northbound lanes of Route 146 on March 19th. Baptiste struck the first car at 3:15a.m in his Honda Pilot. It was a head-on collision with a Hyundai Elantra. The second point of impact happened when a Mercedes sedan was hit in the front by the back of the Elantra. The exact number of victims was not specified, but everyone in the Elantra and Mercedes were hurt. Even though the injuries were not serious, all these victims were hospitalized. Baptiste did not sustain any injuries during the accident. In fact, he even continued to operate his vehicle in the wrong lane. He eventually caused another crash. No information was given on this second accident. Overall, Baptiste faces six charges, including being impaired while driving.
