EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – Crews responded to a fiery collision along the interstate in East Providence on Friday morning.
The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. on the westbound side of I-195, or the East Providence Expressway, near Exit 2, which is between South Broadway and Pawtucket.
Police haven’t shared any details about the wreck except to disclose that a vehicle caught fire and that there weren’t any injuries.
Officials warned of substantial delays along I-195 in the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
