Driver flees after crashing car into Providence house

PROVIDENCE, RI – An unknown driver caused property damage when they crashed a vehicle into a house in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Providence on Saturday, WPRI 12 reports.

Police say the crash happened around 5 a.m. on Mt. Pleasant Avenue. The car collided with a utility pole and a tree before crashing into a house. Following the crash, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the accident, nor have they said if anyone sustained injuries. An investigation is underway, and our team will work to update the blog if further details become available.
