WEST WARWICK, RI – A 19-year-old driver went to the hospital Friday after crashing his vehicle into a building in West Warwick while having a seizure, reports 10 WJAR.
Police say the incident happened in the afternoon at a construction company near the intersection of River Street and Aster Street, which is just east of Providence Street.
The driver crashed into the side of Santilli Construction, causing significant damage to the building.
Medics transported the driver to the hospital where he is expected to recover.
A full investigation of the incident is underway.
