Narrative
CRANSTON, RI – A single-vehicle crash in Cranston injured two women and damaged a home on Thursday.
The incident happened at night on Reservoir Avenue, which runs north and south through the west side of the city.
Police say that an elderly driver lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a sign. This initial collision caused the vehicle to rotate and hit a house, damaging a gas meter.
Both the driver and her female passenger sustained injuries and required hospitalization.
