CRANSTON, R.I.- A driver suffered a medical emergency and drove onto an incoming truck on Reservoir Avenue on Thursday, NBC 10 News reports. The truck driver sustained minor injuries while the driver suffering the emergency was hospitalized at Rhode Island Hospital following the crash. CRANSTON, RI – Medics transported four people to the hospital Thursday after three cars collided at a busy intersection in Cranston, reports abc6. The incident happened sometime before 5:53 p.m. at the intersection of Reservoir Avenue and Woodridge Road. A preliminary investigation suggests that a Jeep may have run a red light before hitting a 4×4 truck. A sedan was also involved in the collision. CRANSTON, RI – No injuries were reported Tuesday after a vehicle drove through the front of a hair salon across the street from the YMCA in Cranston. GoLocalProv reports that the incident happened just after noon when a vehicle pulled out of the YMCA parking lot, struck another vehicle, and then proceeded to crash into Lana’s Beauty Salon at 176 Gansett Avenue. The Cranston Fire Department responded at the scene and confirmed that the occupants from both vehicles were unhurt. Additionally, the salon was closed and empty at the time of the crash.
