Narrative
CRANSTON, RI – No injuries have been reported so far after a vehicle crashed through the front window of a Cranston eatery on Tuesday.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the Dunkin’ in the area 630 Reservoir Avenue, which is just east of Park Avenue.
Police say that a driver with their learner’s permit accidentally accelerated and travelled through the front of the restaurant.
The building was damaged, but neither the driver nor the passenger in the vehicle were injured, and no injuries have been reported among the workers and customers in the building.
A full investigation is underway.
