Narrative

CRANSTON, RI – Crews responded to a collision involving two-vehicles on Monday just north of Garden City Center in Cranston.

The accident occurred late that night on Wayside Drive, just east of Chelo’s Hometown Bar and Grille on Reservoir Avenue.

There’s no word yet on injuries, but photos taken at the scene indicate that both a red SUV and a white vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage.

Police are investigating to determine if the accident may have caused the major power outage that impacted Cranston that same night.
