ROCKVILLE, RI – Medics airlifted one person to the hospital on Tuesday after a two-vehicle collision along the highway in northwest Washington County.
The incident happened just before 4 p.m. on Route 138 near Camp Yawgoog Road, which is just north of Wincheck Pond.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained only minor injuries.
The cause and circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.
