PROVIDENCE, RI – An ambulance from Cranston has been rendered inoperable following a collision with a motorcycle in Providence, according to fire officials.
the incident occurred on Tuesday evening, shortly after 8:30 p.m. The ambulance, en route to Rhode Island Hospital with a patient, was traveling along Potters Avenue towards Broad Street when the collision with the motorcycle took place.
Both the patient and the firefighters who were inside the ambulance at the time of the collision were fortunate to escape unharmed. They were able to proceed to the hospital without any further complications.
The motorcyclist was traveling with a group of about 10 other riders. None of those individuals were reportedly injured in the crash.
