Narrative
A truck driver was sent to Rhode Island Hospital after he was slightly injured when his truck fell on its side on I-295 on Feb. 25th. The sandy contents of the truck spilled onto the interstate near exit 20 when the truck fell as it was driving off a ramp. Both the vehicle and the spilled contents temporarily disturbed traffic in this area while first responders tried administer to the driver and clear the area. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation had released some weather alerts earlier that day due to the snowy and icy conditions.
