Two SUVs and a dump truck crash in Glocester

GLOCESTER, RI- One woman killed and multiple injured in a multi-car wreck on Putnam Pike Friday afternoon, abc6 reports.

The crash occurred near Ted’s Auto around 3p.m.

The woman killed from her injuries was the 66 year-old driver of an SUV.

There were three children in her vehicle who were all transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital. They did not have life-threatening injuries.

A 55 year-old man from North Providence was the driver of the dump truck. He was assessed at the scene.

The driver of the other SUV was a 38 year-old woman from Putnam, Connecticut, who was also assessed onsite.

An eyewitness reported that the crash was incredibly loud and that the scene looked like a tornado.
