Three-car collision hospitalizes 4 in Cranston

CRANSTON, RI – Medics transported four people to the hospital Thursday after three cars collided at a busy intersection in Cranston, reports abc6.

The incident happened sometime before 5:53 p.m. at the intersection of Reservoir Avenue and Woodridge Road.

A preliminary investigation suggests that a Jeep may have run a red light before hitting a 4×4 truck. A sedan was also involved in the collision.

Officials say that all four of the people involved in the accident are expected to recover.

A full investigation is underway.
