Single-vehicle crash kills 1 on Rte. 4 in N Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI – A 48-year-old man died Saturday afternoon when his pickup truck crashed along a highway in North Kingstown, reports Patch.

Police say the incident happened just after 4 p.m. when a southbound pickup truck ran off of Route 4 just south of the Route 102 overpass and crashed into a couple of trees.

The truck then rotated and flipped, killing the driver at the scene.

Authorities identified the victim as David Correira from Narragansett. A full investigation is underway.
