1 hospitalized in E. Providence after 2-vehicle hit-and-run

PROVIDENCE, RI – One person went to the hospital with minor injuries on Sunday evening after two vehicles collided in a hit-and-run accident in East Providence, reports abc6.  

Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Newman Avenue and Bishop Avenue.

One of the drivers left the scene of the accident. That person has since been taken into custody.

Medics transported the other driver to a local hospital.
