PROVIDENCE, RI – Both vehicles sustained damage when a police cruiser collided with an SUV in north Providence on Thursday, WPRI reports.
Local police have not released many details but say the accident occurred around 1:25 a.m. at the intersection of Mineral Spring Avenue and Douglas Avenue. They say the SUV may have hit an electrical box.
Both drivers were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and later released.
The incident is still under investigation.
